Landscaping Labourer – Nanaimo, BC

Have limited skills, but enjoy working as part of a crew outside?

Join our Nanaimo construction crew and build all aspects of high-quality custom landscapes?  As a Landscaping Labourer of Creative By Design, you will help to design and build all aspects of creative and custom landscapes.

Responsibilities:

A landscaping labourer will be expected to assist our Nanaimo Construction Crew with the installation of new projects and renovations. 

Required experience, knowledge and skills:

A strong back and work ethic
A valid BC Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
Physically fit enough to perform your daily duties

Completion of installations and renovations:

• Dig, lift, operate small machines, load tools and equipment on and off trailers and trucks etc
• Work strategically to perform tasks safely, efficiently and effectively
• Work with urgency and purpose

What to expect as a Landscaping Labourer:

As a labourer, you can expect: 

• Seasonal – March 1 – December 15th (Approx)
• Full time 40-50 hours per week. 
• Competitive wages based on value and attitude you offer and provide.  Typical wage range may be $24 – $30 per hour for this position, depending on experience.
